One of the most frustrating misunderstandings about FT Island to be honest. Thanks to FNC rarely allowing them to compose for their own Korean albums, many are under the impression that they can’t write their music thus aren’t a “true band”.
This is why FT Island needs Japan - it’s there they can compose and write what they want, the identity they want to establish as artists. It’s the place where they can truly show what they are capable of, to really grow as musicians, and most importantly, to be welcomed and acknowledged warmly as a hard-working talented band.
